BSC 2020 - What You Can Expect

BSC 2020 is now just over a week away and there is a lot to be excited about. Just as in previous years, we will be presenting some of the latest releases in the world of film. To give you a test of what type of products we will be featuring, we have summarised some of the products we are bringing with us.

Latest Cameras

Sony FX9

We are displaying the recently released Sony PXW-FX9 at our stand (545) at BSC. With a 6K CMOS sensor, users will be able to record in HD, Ultra HD and 4K. Recent screen tests have proven the camera’s capability of capturing stunning detail in low light and with low noise. You will get the chance to try out the FX9’s features including its responsive AF tracking and shallow depth of field.

You will also get the chance to try out the ever-popular Sony VENICE too.  Now a favourite for Netflix productions, you can come and see why the VENICE keeps being selected by so many DOPs as their camera of choice for cinematic productions.

CINE Lenses

Fujinon Premista

At this year's show you will get the chance to see Fujinon’s Premista series at our stand. The CINE Zoom Lenses created for large format cameras will fit a range of large sensor sizes. We will be showing both the Premista 28-100mm T2.9 and 80-250mm T2.9-3.5.

We will also have the Tokina Vista series on display at BSC. Tokina Cinema's  Vista CINE prime lenses are complimented for their low breathing and having purposely built cinema glass. They will fit full-frame cameras such as the Sony FX9 and cover an image circle of up to 46.7mm.

Broadcasting

Silverback V

If you want to upgrade your camera for live broadcasting, the SilverBack V by MultiDyne is the perfect tool! Using their single fibre cable, you will be able to convert your 4K camcorder to a “4K Live” camera. We will demo the SilverBack V on the Sony VENICE at BSC.

For Wireless transmission, we will have the Cosmo and Mars series from Hollyland on show. You can see for yourself the low latency of the Cosmo 600 or Mars 400s, hooked up to either of our cameras set up on our stand.

Rigging & Set Up

Fujinon Premista

9.solututions are perfect to rig up camera gear in just about any situation or environment. We have a full rig set-up planned for one of our cameras to show you just how versatile our clamps are.

We have our full team of equipment specialist on-hand to answer any questions and demo any of the items featured on our stand. Get your free ticket here.
