Top-Teks Supply the VENICE Used for the Queen's Speech

We are thrilled to announce that this year we supplied the three Sony VENICE and the Fuji lenses used to film the Queen's Speech. Neil Morris from Sky  wrote: "The VENICE is definitely well suited to film and drama sets. Being able to access settings from both sides of the camera is a big bonus, and the clever menus offer quick access to essential setting or deeper settings via a longer button push. I found the Variable ND to be invaluable and the outputs offer maximum flexibility both for monitoring and making back up recordings on the fly. There is also a great selection of information that can be displayed independently in the VF and/or monitor outputs as well as LUTs. We used the Fuji 24-180 & 75-400 on our static cameras and the guys were easily able to pick off the mids & close up shots they needed. The Fuji's held detail really well with the Iris wide open on the wider shots. It was only my cautiousness that held us back around T4. At Buckingham Palace, the Fuji 18-85 was our main lens on the Queen. We needed to offer a zoom as well as vary the shot size without changing lenses half way through. There was so much detail to be seen in the room and again the camera & lens combination handled it all, impressively so in UHD. I'm really happy with the kit choices that we made and very grateful to you Mike for your wisdom and guidance."
