TVlogic: Calibration & Maintenance

Recently, we have been recognized by TVlogic as their Official UK Service Partner. This means we are now able to offer full services for customers experiencing issues with their TVlogic monitors. We have also invested in calibration and restoration equipment for in-house repairs, meaning now you won’t have to send off your TVLogic F7H to Korea for weeks at a time. We have put together a quick check list for your TVlogic monitors and how we can help.

Why Calibrate?

There has been a lot of noise about Monitor Calibration due to new guidelines published by Netflix. Set monitors need calibrating every 90 days and a conformity certificate as proof. Netflix recommends CalMAN for calibration but are happy to accept other systems with the correct certificate (TVlogic Calibration and Certification is acceptable). As part of Top-Teks’ new status as TVlogic’s UK Service Partner, we can now provide full calibration services for all your monitors.

Regular calibration of your monitor ensures consistency and means there is a standard throughout the production process. It means your whites are white, and the colours and Gamma are consistent. Important for any DOP who wants to ensure the highest quality picture possible for their client.

Panel Repairs

TVlogic screens are a lot more affordable than other manufacturers. Top-Teks keeps a good stock of the most common monitor panels. We will have your screen replaced quickly and looking as good as new. If you have a scratched or blemished panel, give us a call and we can give you an estimate.

Manufacturer Warranty

As an official partner of TVlogic, Top-Teks can carry out repairs under manufacturer warranty and are able to warranty the repairs we make. Make sure to register your device within 3 months of purchase with TVlogic to get 2 years warranty.
