The Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 is a second-generation live production switcher designed for high-end broadcast studios. It features an expanded professional control panel, 8 HDMI inputs, 3 HDMI outputs, multiview monitoring, a built-in streaming engine, and CFexpress plus Thunderbolt support for recording and playback. The switcher also offers 10G Ethernet for fast network storage, XLR audio inputs, USB webcam output, DVE, chroma keying, media players, and ISO recording of all 8 inputs. ATEM Mini switchers make multi-camera live productions simple, whether streaming to YouTube or presenting via Zoom or Teams. Users can switch between 8 high-quality video sources, connect computers for slides or gaming consoles, and create picture-in-picture effects using the built-in DVE. Advanced video effects and hidden broadcast features allow users to produce professional-quality live content. The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 goes further, adding professional enhancements for a complete broadcast workflow. It includes 3 independently routable outputs, Thunderbolt for live capture and playback, CFexpress card access over 10G Ethernet, balanced XLR audio with MADI support, headphone monitoring, and a media pool with up to 200 frames of animation. Thunderbolt also enables real-time integration with DaVinci Resolve for live replay, colour grading, and editing workflows. More than just a switcher, it acts as a shared network storage hub. CFexpress media can record multiple ISO files while editors on the network simultaneously work on colour correction, VFX, and audio post-production. Integration with Blackmagic Cloud allows teams worldwide to collaborate seamlessly. The front panel offers tactile controls with high-end ATEM buttons and a manual fader for smooth transitions, plus a Fairlight-style audio mixer with live metering. For podcasts or setups requiring additional microphones, the ATEM Microphone Converter expands audio inputs easily via MADI, offering four mic/line inputs per unit, phantom power, and ultra-low noise with high dynamic range. ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 is compatible with all major video software, including DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Media Composer, Fusion, After Effects, and Photoshop.
