Firmware Version 2.50 - Just launched for Fujifilm's GFX100 II
2nd Apr 2026
Fujifilm have just launched the version 2.50 firmware update for the GFX100 II.
The new update when combined with a Fujinon G-mount lens, gives you the option to display aperture units as T-stop values instead of just F-stop values as before. This allows you to determine exactly how much light is hitting the camera sensor. This makes it much easier to ensure consistency in exposure and is in turn a great update for filmmakers.
Most significantly, this update enables compatibility with Fujinon's power zoom lens - the GF32-90mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR. This lens is Fujifilm's first and only power zoom lens within the GF range and was originally developed for the GFX ETERNA 55. It benefits from an internal motor for zoom control, as well as a manual zoom ring. Allowing you to switch between manual and power zoom via a switch on the lens itself.
To get the most out of this update you will also need to make sure you have the latest firmware (Version 1.01) installed on the lens.
Please ensure you read all the guidance provided on Fujifilm's website prior to proceeding with the update.
