Want rod support wherever you go? The 15mm Rod Bracket for Universal BUD Plate gives you freedom and functionality in equal measure. The two independently-locking rod brackets offer convenient support, and the bracket mounts cleanly and simply to the front of your BUD plate.

Designed for the Fujifilm GFX ETERNA, the Rod Bracket gives you 15mm LWS compatibility for your Fuji filmmaking.

Rod Rigging

There’s a few acronyms involved here, so let’s break them down. The Universal BUD Plate gives you quick-release functionality from ARRI’s Balanced Utility Dovetails (BUD). If you are shooting on the Fujifilm GFX ETERNA and want to have support rods set to the 15mm Light Weight Support (15mm LWS) optical height, then this Rod Bracket is exactly what you need. This means that for mounting matte boxes and other accessories, you can keep your rig low-profile.

Compatibility

The 15mm Rod Bracket for Universal BUD Plate is designed to mount directly to the Universal BUD Plate via captive screws. Once installed, the bracket sits at the 15mm LWS height standard for the Fujifilm GFX ETERNA. The Rod Bracket is not compatible with older models of the KASBAH Ātman Universal Shoulder Rig, as the bracket will clash with the central channel.

Instructions/Assembly

You will require the Universal BUD Plate and a 3mm Hex Key in order to install the Rod Bracket.

1. Align the Rod Bracket’s M4 screws with the front threads on either side of the Universal BUD Plate
2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to tightly secure the Rod Bracket in place.
