The Vertical Adaptor provides a stable mounting point, aligned with the camera’s optical centre, that allows the GFX ETERNA to be flipped on its side when combined with our Side Rib and Rear Side Plate. This means you can create stunning videos for social media without compromising on cinematic quality.

Cheese Plate Functionality

Alternatively, for shooting classic horizontal content, the Vertical Adaptor can double as a cheese plate – with the 3/8” screw threads on the side plates allowing for different positioning on the side of the ETERNA. The Adaptor also features two MAP points for mounting microphones and other accessories, and each of the 1/4"" and 3/8” threads feature anti-twist threads: for guaranteed secure mounting.

Compatibility

The Fujifilm GFX ETERNA Vertical Adaptor is designed to be used with the GFX ETERNA camera system only, and requires the dedicated Side Rib and Rear Side Plate in order to correctly function. For mounting, it features an array of 1/4” and 3/8” anti-twist screw threads; making it compatible with a range of dovetail, tripod and gimbal plates.

Instructions/Assembly

The Vertical Adaptor comes with all required screws. You will require the Side Rib and Rear Side Plate

Vertical Adaptor to Rear Side Plate

1. First, ensure that both the Rear Side Plate and ETERNA Side Rib are installed on the right-hand side of the camera.
2. Align the Vertical Adaptor’s 3/8” screw with the second 3/8” thread from the top of the ETERNA Rear Side Plate – so that the Adaptor covers the ETERNA’s screen.
3. Use a 4mm Hex Key in order to attach the Vertical Adaptor.
