Versine™ 240 is the professional fluid head built for mobility. Engineered for roaming camera positions in live and field production, it delivers the smooth control and reliable balance operators need, without the bulk. Compact, tough, and easy to carry, it's made for crews who move fast and shoot live. Versine 240 supports payloads up to 24 kg (53 lb) at 125 mm (5") Centre of Gravity [CoG] - ideal for 40x zoom lenses and RF setups used with monocular viewfinders - and 30 kg (66 lb) at 90 mm (3.5") CoG - ideal for small studio setups with prompters. Its compact chassis is lightweight enough for field work, but tough enough for demanding productions - perfect for roaming OB setups, live events, and ENG positions. Perfect Balance™ technology ensures smooth positioning at any tilt angle, and TF30 Drag delivers exceptionally steady framing for long lens operation, while still allowing fast whip pans. All controls stay in a fixed position on the left side, so adjustments are quick and instinctive. This system combines the Versine 240 with the Osprey Lite Pedestal to create a lightweight and portable studio pedestal configuration. The Osprey Lite has 2 stages for capturing both extremely high and low shots, and its upper stage is perfectly balanced for ‘on shot’ talent tracking. Track locks and adjustable cable guards ensure smooth movement across the studio floor. A detachable skid allows the pedestal to be separated into two sections for convenient storage and transport. The system also includes a multi-functional base assembly that can be added to the Versine 240 using its four captive hex screws and allows the head to be fixed to the pedestal using the 4-bolt flat base standard (Versine 240 bowl stud must be removed).
