Libec HS-150Q Tripod System

The Libec HS-150Q Tripod System is a professional video support system designed for handheld camcorders, mirrorless cameras, and lightweight cinema rigs. Built around the Libec H15 Fluid Head and paired with the durable QL40B aluminium tripod, this system delivers smooth camera movement, precise balance control, and reliable stability for both studio and field production.

The H15 fluid head features Libec’s continuous Perfect Balance counterbalance system, allowing the camera to remain balanced at any tilt angle. This technology ensures stable positioning and smooth tilting, making it easier for operators to capture precise movements—even when working with zoom lenses or lightweight cinema setups.

For enhanced control, the head incorporates a multilayered metal drag unit with adjustable drag settings that provide smooth pan and tilt movements. The counterbalance range of 0.8–2 kg and a maximum payload of 3 kg (6.6 lb) make the HS-150Q ideal for DSLR and mirrorless video rigs.

The tripod system is built with 2-stage aluminium legs and a quick-lock mechanism, allowing operators to adjust height quickly and securely during production. With an adjustable working height range of 71.5 cm to 198.3 cm, the system adapts easily to a variety of shooting environments.

Designed for versatility, the head supports both 75mm bowl and flat-base mounting, enabling it to be used with traditional tripods, sliders, or other camera support equipment. The system also includes a ground spreader and carry case, making it convenient for transport and location shooting.

Additional professional features include an illuminated bubble level, Snap On/Off sliding plate compatible with Manfrotto and Sachtler systems, and 1/4" and 3/8" accessory mounting threads for attaching monitors, lights, or other accessories.
