Mr.
Your cold shoe is well made and met most of my objectives. One suggestion, the flat bottom of the shoe is too shallow. I had to Gorilla glue a 3 mil piece of aluminium to the bottom in order to get it to interface with a Jabu 'off-camera' flash mount.

Once again ProMediaGear has got it spot on. Great build, superb finish a great piece of engineered photographic gear. Whenever I buy a piece of ProMediaGear kit I know that I can rely on it to do exactly what it was built to do. Gary Tack garytackwildphotos.zenfolio.com

Review of a perfectionist Canon user It is the only metal Cold Shoe Adapter who works with Canon Speedlite 600EX. Because of the weather seal of the speedlite I have to put a lot of pressure to lock it when I use Cold Shoe Adapter from other manufactures. Cons: -The Canon Speedlite 600EX has a little movement when it is locked. It is because of the too thin area highlighted in the picture compared with (Version 3) SmallRig. -The front and back side of the speedlite shoe are exposed and the weather seal it is useless Improvements: -The area who holds the flash down can be a little thicker (the area highlighted in the photo compared with (Version 3) SmallRig) -The two stopper screws can hold a plate for a better weather seal -The area where the logo is can be a little longer to offer a better weather seal and support for speedlight Sorry to be a perfectionist.
