Combining exceptional rigidity with Ronford Baker's renowned fluid technology, it delivers smooth, precise camera movement for today's most demanding productions. Its innovative modular design allows the Atlas 7 to be configured as a 2-axis, 3-axis or 4-axis system in minutes using identical fluid modules throughout. Each module offers 15 levels of fluid drag, plus fluid-free positions, and provides 360° rotation for maximum creative flexibility. The rigid platform features interchangeable width and height blocks (4 cm, 8 cm and 16 cm) for quick adjustment, while the vertically balanced camera platform incorporates rapid ratchet adjustment with fine nodal balancing. Compatible with ARRI Dovetail, Panavision and Ronford Baker Quick Release plates, the Atlas 7 is supplied with a Mitchell base as standard, with an optional 150 mm ball base available. Dual spirit levels, smooth positive braking and environmentally sealed construction ensure dependable performance in all production environments. 3rd Axis Configuration The Atlas 7 can be quickly converted into a 3rd Axis Nodal Setup, allowing the camera to rotate around the lens axis for VFX, motion control and virtual production work. Counterbalance weights can be fitted to both the tilt and 3rd Axis adjuster plates for accurate balancing.
