The ECM-W5 is a wireless microphone system that supports High-Resolution Audio recording, offering excellent compatibility with Sony cameras and versatility for a wide range of video production needs. With professional-grade 32-bit float recording, advanced audio capture features and a stable connection range of up to 500 m (line of sight), it allows you to record with confidence and without worrying about missed audio or recording errors. It also connects directly to smartphones and PCs, providing convenient, high-quality recording in one versatile, all-in-one wireless microphone system. The all-in-one package includes everything you need, with two microphone/transmitters (TX), one receiver (RX), a charging case and more. When you open the case, the receiver automatically powers on and enters standby mode. Simply remove the receiver and microphones from the case, and they power on, ready to use. For compatible cameras, the receiver connects directly to the Multi Interface (MI) Shoe™ without the need for cables, allowing you to record up to four channels of professional-quality digital audio wirelessly and directly in-camera, with sampling rates of up to 96 kHz/24-bit or 48 kHz/32-bit float. What's in the box: Experience a unique wireless 32-bit float recording workflow with cable-free operation powered directly through the MI Shoe. Record audio straight to MP4 while simultaneously creating a separate WAV file, allowing for quick and easy audio-only editing without the need to extract files. Capture every detail with true 32-bit float recording and Hi-Res audio at sampling rates of up to 96 kHz. Reduce the risk of audio clipping while maintaining exceptional sound quality and greater flexibility during post-production. Record with confidence thanks to a stable wireless connection of up to 500 m, support for up to four transmitters with independent audio channels, and cable-free audio monitoring using compatible Bluetooth® LE Audio headphones and earbuds. Keep your recordings protected with 64 GB of internal memory in each transmitter, providing up to 90 hours of backup recording.
