The Sony BP-U70 is a lithium ion battery. It offers an ideal balance of capacity and weight for most professional video applications. Continously communicates battery status data to the camera. Remaining capacity is displayed on the camera’s LCD monitor and viewfinder, allowing operators to monitor battery status easily and accurately while shooting. Compared to the previous generation BP-U60, it offers significantly higher capacity while having the same charging time.
