The Tilta Hydra Alien Mini Car Mounting System brings professional-grade vehicle mounting performance to compact cameras, action cameras, and smartphones in an ultra-lightweight package.

Inspired by the design and functionality of the renowned Hydra Arm system, the Hydra Alien Mini combines advanced vibration isolation with a compact form factor, making it ideal for dynamic vehicle-mounted shots. Designed for lightweight camera setups up to 1.32 lbs (600g), the system is compatible with the DJI Action 3 and 4, DJI Pocket 3, Insta360 X3 and X4, as well as smartphones equipped with Tilta’s Khronos ecosystem.

At the heart of the system is a hydraulic damping mechanism that utilizes premium automotive-grade oil for smooth, stable performance even in demanding driving conditions. The damping system is user-serviceable, allowing additional oil to be added when necessary to maintain optimal performance.

For users seeking even greater security, an optional Electronic Suction Cup is available. This intelligent mounting solution continuously monitors air pressure and automatically restores suction when leaks are detected, helping ensure a secure connection throughout extended shoots. Powered by an integrated 2000mAh battery, the suction cup can operate for over 8 hours under normal conditions and supports USB-C external power for continuous all-day operation.
