Camera Rigs - Shape For Sony FX6
Similar to Sony’s previous cameras such as the FS7 and the FX9, Shape has come up with a rigging solution for the Sony FX6.
The Sony FX6 Base Plate (BP10) offers a unique design, created for both amateur and professional filmmakers seeking camera supports & stabilizers of high-quality. Additionally, it features 2 standard Arri rosettes for handles mount and there is a standard quick release adapter plate compatible with most VCT tripod plates.
The Shape Remote Extension Handle & Cable (FX6RH) attaches to any Arri Rosette enabling the user to extend the control grip from the FX6 and use it as a supporting arm whilst maintaining control. The arm comes complete with an extension for the remote cable and a Rosette that will attach to the space left by removing the grip so the arm can be used without any other additional plates or cages. The arm utilises Shape’s Push Button system to allow the arm to be positioned quickly and securely without worrying if you’ve tightened the fixing properly.
Shape’s Hand 3 is a great accompaniment to the FX6RH giving the operator left hand support. The Hand 3 will also fit to any Arri Rosette with two axis push button adjustment to change the arm angle and handle angle independently. Having the option to move the grip on the Sony FX6 not only makes it more comfortable to handle, but also makes it ideal for news broadcast and shoots that require long periods of handheld camera.
