Libec TH-V2 Tripod System

The Libec TH-V2 is a lightweight, compact and affordable professional tripod system designed for precise, cinematic camera movement. Building on the proven TH series, it features Libec’s patented Continuous Friction Control for both pan and tilt, providing smooth and controlled operation.

The video head supports cameras up to 5kg / 11lb, with a +90° to -80° tilt range and a snap-on/off sliding camera plate for fast setup. Its dual-head design is compatible with both 75mm bowl and flat-base tripods, as well as sliders, skater dollies and other equipment.

The redesigned tripod legs feature a detachable carrying handle for improved portability, while three sets of Accessory Ports allow monitors, lights and other equipment to be mounted directly without additional clamps.

Combining Libec’s unique friction technology with practical field features, the TH-V2 provides a versatile and reliable support solution for modern professional productions.

  • Continuous Friction Control - The TH-V2 is equipped with friction control knobs that adjusts the pan and tilt drag settings.
  • Improved Friction Knobs - The friction knobs have been redesigned with a more ergonomic shape, making them easier to grip and rotate for even smoother adjustments.
  • Snap ON/OFF Plate - The sliding plate can be attached and released with just one-touch. Quick and easy setups in the field are easily achieved.
  • Highly Compatible Sliding Plate - Sliding plate is compatible with Libec's AP-X, TH-M KIT, TH-X, TH-Z2, NX Series and HS Series. This industry standard sliding plate is also compatible with other brand tripod systems and accessories, allowing users to quickly swap between a wide range of camera supports.
  • Dual Head - The Dual-head base specification allows for a quick set-up with both 75mm bowl and
    flat base tripods. The Dual-head base is also compatible with sliders, skater dollies, and photo tripods.
  • LED Bubble Level - The bubble level is equipped with an LED light allowing users to level a tripod head in the dark.
  • Adjustment Spacer - By removing the spacer of the bowl clamp, the length of the insertion thread is extended, offering more equipment that can be attached to the head.
  • Convenient Multi-angle Carrying Grip - The carrying handle dramatically improves portability and is not an option; it comes standard. Quickly adjust the handle position in 90° steps to suit your shooting style. It can also be removed if not needed.
  • Accessory Port for Added Convenience - The base of the tripod has three sets of accessory ports with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch threads, which are convenient for attaching accessories such as monitors and lights more stably.
  • Weight Hook - The equipped hook allows users to hang weights, which adds even more stability to the tripod in order to endure strong winds and withstand other situations where extra stability is needed.
  • Safety Design - With safety in mind, the tripod legs are carefully designed to prevent users from pinching their fingers when intentionally or unintentionally collapsing the tripod.
  • Adjustable Mid-spreader - Widening the mid-spreader can make the system even more stable.
  • Improved Tripod Feet - These improved foot rubbers will support the tripod more firmly on various surfaces while allowing steady camerawork without slippage.
