The Sound Devices 888 is a compact, powerful 16-channel portable mixer-recorder designed for professional location sound. Lightweight enough for bag use yet powerful enough for cart-based productions, it features 8 ultra-low-noise 8-Series preamps, 20 recording tracks, Dante connectivity, dual SD card slots, and an internal 256 GB SSD. With flexible routing, multiple powering options, advanced timecode, built-in EQ, Dugan Automixing, MixAssist, optional NoiseAssist and CEDAR sdnx processing, plus support for USB control surfaces and the SD-Remote app, the 888 can be tailored to virtually any production workflow. Record simultaneously to three media, integrate wireless systems via the SL-2, and expand up to 16 channels of wireless audio with the Astral ARX16. Whether on a cart or over the shoulder, the 888 delivers professional recording power in a compact package. What's in the Box: Sound Devices 888 - Portable Production Mixer-Recorder
